Mannose oligosaccharide, also known as mannose oligosaccharide, is a new antigenic active substance extracted from the cell wall of yeast culture.Because it not only has low heat, stability, safety, non-toxic and other good physical and chemical properties,but also has the role of protecting the intestinal tract and improving immunity, foreign countries have been widely used as feed additives in the feed industry.
Action principle
The main components of the gastrointestinal non-immune defense system are endogenous microbiota, which are often divided into beneficial microbiota (e.g. bifidobacteria, eubacteria, lactobacillus) and harmful microbiota (e.g. escherichia coli).Clostridium pneumoniae and staphylococcus), among which the beneficial microbial flora mostly covers the gastrointestinal epithelium and plays a role in preventing the colonization of pathogenic microorganisms on the intestinal mucosal tissue.The main mechanism of manna oligosaccharides is to interfere with the colonization of intestinal pathogens.Mannose oligosaccharides provide abundant sources of mannose for bacteria, thus avoiding the affinity between bacteria and intestinal wall. As mannose oligosaccharides are not degraded by digestive enzymes and carry pathogens through the intestinal tract, they can play a role in preventing the colonization of pathogenic bacteria in the intestinal tract.Pathogens cannot use mannose oligosaccharides as an energy source for their growth, while beneficial bacteria can be activated by mannose oligosaccharides.This indicates that the manna oligosaccharide can promote the beneficial bacteria to become the dominant flora in the intestinal tract.
